App Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the mobile applications published by Bluevibe Studios, Inc. handle your information. It covers every app we currently publish and every app we will publish in the future, unless a particular app supplies its own separate policy. The privacy policy for our website, bluevibestudios.com, is a separate document.

1. Who we are

Bluevibe Studios, Inc. ("Bluevibe Studios," "we," "us," or "our") is a Massachusetts corporation operating from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. We design and develop mobile applications and other creative works.

2. Our default posture: collect nothing

Bluevibe Studios apps are built around a simple principle: we collect nothing about you that we don't absolutely need. Most of our apps collect no personal information at all. Specifically, our default posture across the catalog is:

  • No accounts and no logins
  • No analytics frameworks (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics)
  • No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs
  • No social-network integrations that share content on your behalf
  • No servers we operate — there are no Bluevibe Studios servers receiving your data

If a specific app needs to depart from this posture, it will say so prominently in its App Store listing and in this policy below.

3. What stays on your device

The content you create inside any Bluevibe Studios app — notes, journal entries, settings, preferences, attachments — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's native frameworks (such as SwiftData or Core Data). We have no access to it.

4. Apple's iCloud (your private data, your account)

Several of our apps use Apple's iCloud as a private storage layer so your data can sync between your own devices. When this is in use:

  • Your data is stored in your own iCloud Private Database — accessible only to you
  • Apple operates this infrastructure under its own privacy practices
  • Bluevibe Studios has no access to your iCloud data and no way to read what is stored there
  • You can remove an app's iCloud data at any time from Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage

5. In-app purchases

Some Bluevibe Studios apps offer one-time, non-subscription in-app purchases. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase succeeded; we never see your payment method, billing address, name, email address, or any other identifying information from the App Store.

6. Crash reports and diagnostics

If you have Share With App Developers enabled on your iPhone (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymized crash and performance reports for our apps. These reports are aggregated and do not contain personal content. You can opt out at any time in iOS Settings.

7. Third parties

Our apps do not contain third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels. The only third party involved in any of our apps is Apple, which provides the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, and the iOS operating system itself.

8. App-specific notes

Where individual apps handle data in any way that deviates from the defaults above, those details are listed here:

Echolong

Echolong stores all of your content — memories, feelings, candles, letters, custom anniversaries — locally on your device and (optionally) in your own iCloud Private Database. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of it. The only network communication Echolong makes is to Apple's StoreKit for one-time purchase verification.

Additional apps will be listed here as they are released.

9. Children's privacy

Bluevibe Studios apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to one of our apps, please contact us and we will respond promptly.

10. Deleting your data

Because Bluevibe Studios apps store everything on your device:

  • To delete local data: uninstall the app from your iPhone.
  • To delete iCloud data: open iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → select the app → Delete Data.

Because we do not store your data on any server we operate, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because our apps do not collect or transmit personal information to Bluevibe Studios servers, we generally hold no personal information about you to disclose, correct, or delete. If you have a specific request, email hello@bluevibestudios.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

12. International users

Bluevibe Studios is based in the United States. iCloud storage is operated by Apple in jurisdictions Apple chooses, which may include the United States and other countries. Apple's data practices govern that storage.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll communicate the change through a future app update. Continued use of an app after such an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
